A St. Petersburg company has unveiled Russia’s first ever range of hotel shoe cleaning machines.

The ‘Eco Line’ range comprises three different models and is being pitched as low-cost alternative to the established German makes that dominate in the Russian marketplace.

According to managing director Edward Suhovey, each machine will be priced 1.5 to 3 times less than its German equivalent, with no compromise on quality. A local company, Raduga, has been contracted to supply shoe polish for the machines.
