New appointments at Rockport and Ralph Lauren Footwear
Reebok International has announced several appointments and executive changes at its wholly owned subsidiary, The Rockport Co. and its footwear license division, Ralph Lauren Footwear.
Terry Pillow moves from his chief executive officer position at The Rockport Co to chief executive officer of Ralph Lauren Footwear, whilst Rick Paterno has been promoted to president of The Rockport Co. Both will report to Jay Margolis, president of Reebok's Specialty Business Group.
Paterno, who joined Rockport in May, was previously president of Easy Spirit women’s footwear, which saw significant growth in sales and profits under his direction. Pillow, replacing Leslie Smith who resigned in April, led Rockport to improved brand positioning and to increased sales for three consecutive quarters. He has named Joseph Stafiniak as senior vice president of merchandising and design for Ralph Lauren Footwear who will be responsible for driving the brand's merchandising strategy and planning, as well as overseeing all footwear products.
Meanwhile, Frank Zambrelli, currently senior vice president of product for Rockport, has been promoted to senior vice president and creative director of the brand. Zambrelli will be responsible for product design and marketing.
