The 2001 China International Leather Exhibition, the biggest of its kind held annually in China, has been scheduled for September 27-29 at the Everbright Convention and Exhibition Centre in Shanghai.

According to the show’s organiser, China National Leather Association, all booths on the first and second floors have been booked, and it has opened the third floor for attracting more participants.

This year’s show is said to be markedly different from past ones. The Moda Shanghai Exhibition, known in China for its high-grade leather products from other countries is expected to attract more foreign companies and provide more chances for buyers and manufacturers from at home and abroad, the Association says. Participants will include missions from the FIA and Hide and Leather Trade Association of the United States, as well as Australia, Thailand, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Mexico and Taiwan.
