To better penetrate overseas markets, footwear and accessories manufacturers located in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil have formed their own export consortium.

Created with the approval of the Brazilian Export Agency APEX, ‘Minas Shoe & Bags’ will operate for an initial three year period and primarily be involved in representing it members at the major international exhibitions.

The founder members are: Calçados Vieira e Vieira (Renée), Fábrica de Calçados Cacique (Andacco), Bolsas Arzon, AV Artefatos de Couro (Angela Vasconcelos), Tangará (Pé ante Pé), San Marino, Oto Calçados (Spatifilus), Compasso, Incical (Sylvia Brandão), Scala (Zepp), J. Lopes e Freitas (J.Lopes) and RMR (Bolsas Getúlio),
