UK footwear retailer to go live e-commerce site

It was reported in the UK retail press that week that the footwear retailer Schuh is to go online with its own e-commerce website.

The site follows Schuh’s collaboration with e-tailer ShoeShop.com, and is expected to go live later in 2001.  In the same report, the company’s managing director, Sandy Alexander, stated that the company’s internet sales were up 300 per cent on last year.
