The UK’s Football League has announced a three-year extension to its existing deal with sports company Mitre to supply footballs to its clubs. The new deal will see Mitre supplying its Mitre Ultimax and Mitre League trainer balls to all 72 Football League clubs until 2004. The new agreement will also see Mitre footballs being used in Worthington Cup and LDV Vans Trophy matches.
