Tempo Shain Corp to add Comfortemp to its line
Supplier of performance-driven textile composites Tempo Shain Corp is to add Frisby Technologies Comfortemp materials to its line of products used in the footwear, outdoor and medical industries. The company will combine Comfortemp materials with a variety of its performance textiles to offer manufacturers a complete package of temperature-balancing technical textiles. Tempo Shain will begin marketing Comfortemp-enhanced packages immediately to more than 200 of its existing footwear accounts.
According to Tempo Shain, this is the first time Frisby has granted rights to a non-affiliated company to sell Comfortemp-based footwear textiles in North America. The agreement means that instead of buying the individual component parts separately, Tempo Shain customers will be able to purchase a complete, thermally enhanced, cushioned textile package, reducing the normal cost of adding this high-value technical feature.
