A report carried in the New York Post last week suggested that the fashion designer and anti-leather and fur campaigner, Stella McCartney, might well work with leather after all.

According to local reports, Stella was recently seen in New York wearing cowhide shoes. She is also rumoured to be working on a range of leather handbags and shoes with Gucci head designer Tom Ford. McCartney and Ford have yet to comment on the claims.
