The German chemicals producer BASF has commissioned a new acrylic dispersions production facility in Shanghai, China, allowing the production of a range of environmentally-compatible dispersions for the surface coatings, adhesives construction and non-wovens industries.

Located at BASF’s wholly-owned Shanghai production company, BASF Colorants and Chemicals Co. Ltd (BACC), the new facility will primarily serve the Chinese market, though some exports within Asia are also envisaged, BASF says.
