Reversal of fortunes for Hong-Kong sports and footwear wholesaler

The Hong Kong-listed sportswear and leather footwear wholesaler Century Legend (Holdings) Ltd, has posted profits of HK$587,000 (US$75,000) for the year 2000, reversing the previous year’s losses of HK$55.8 million
The company behind the Fortei brand name, Century Legend also reported operating revenues of HK$3.4m, down 93.5 per cent year-on-year. Last year, the company purchased a 40 per cent (HK$8m) stake in Hong Kong-based Integrated Solutions.
