Leather goods spearhead Vietnam exports

It was reported on Vietnamese state radio last week that two of the country’s biggest export-earners last year were leather products and crude oil.
The country’s total exports for the year reached $7.6 million – a 15% increase on the previous year’s figure. The same report revealed that the total value of exports from Ho Chi Minh City was $2.7 billion – a 19% increase year– on –year.
