Clarks appoints Italian head of design

The UK footwear producer Clarks has recruited an Italian to head up its design team.
He is Anton Magnani, a former freelance designer who joins the Somerset company from the Swiss footwear brand, Bally. Magnani and his team will divide their time between Clarks’s Somerset headquarters and the company’s newly-opened London design studio.
