Hulshof spells it out
Weighing in at 2.5 tonnes each, the letters are not the only striking feature of the building which, the company says, has been designed to reflect its emphasis on technology and culture of openness. Other architectural highlights include full height glazed walls, both inside and out, and a highly unusual floor plan based on the intersection of a triangle and a square.
Despite the futuristic design of the building, Hulshof says it has no intention of ignoring its past achievements. Accordingly, the reception will feature an extensive display area, describing the 125 year history of the company. The official opening of the building is scheduled for this September.
