Senior appointments at Rack Room Shoes

US footwear retailer Rack Room Shoes Inc. has named Bob Hartley as president and chief executive. Hartley succeeds Murray Diamond, who has left the company.
Hartley was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche before joining Rack Room Shoes in 1988. Since then, he has served as chief financial officer, vice president of finance and administration and, most recently, senior vice president.
The company also has named Rick Brown senior vice president of retail operations and marketing.
