Prada takes controlling stake in Carshoe
The Italian fashion house Prada announced last week that it has purchased a 51% stake in the upmarket footwear brand, Carshoe.
Carshoe was founded in 1962 by Gianni Mistile, who started out making Alpine trekking boots before moving onto footwear for motoring. The brand is retailed through department stores in the US and via a range of exlusive boutiques in Europe. No further details of the purchase were available from Prada at the time of going to press.
