CPS Color to share tinting expertise with Rohm & Haas
The leather, paints and plastics tinting systems specialist, CPS Color of Vantaa, Finland, has entered into an agreement with the US chemicals and coatings giant Rohm & Haas, under which the two companies will share their technical and commercial know-how.
"This alliance gives us a tremendous opportunity to combine our expertise in tinting systems with Rohm and Haas' expertise in other paint ingredients," says Raimo Piironen, Chief Executive Officer of CPS Color. "Together, CPS Color and Rohm and Haas will form a synergistic triangle with customers that adds value to them and strengthens our mutual position in the marketplace."
Formerly known as Tikkurila CPS and Winter-Bouts, CPS Color was acquired by a group of investors from the Finnish group Kemira Oyi, late in 2001.
