Footstar fails to shine in Q1

US-based Footstar Inc. has recorded first quarter losses for this year. A net loss of $4.2 million was logged for the athletic footwear and apparel retailer, as opposed to a $2.8 million profit for the same period in the previous year. The losses had been anticipated by Wall Street financial analysts.
