‘Sold as Seen’ – One of Pakistan’s oldest tanneries to go under the hammer

It has been announced that one of Pakistan’s oldest tanneries - Muhammad Jamil Shabbir & Co. is to be sold by public auction next month for the recovery of United Bank dues.

Covering 31 acres, the tannery is being offered by the Sindh High Court on ‘Sold as seen’ basis, and will be sold complete with all machinery. The auction will take place in Karachi on May 5.
