The Brazilian misosa extract supplier, Seta (Sociedade Extrativa Tanino de Acácia Ltda) has entered into a co-operation agreement with Bayer A.G., under which the German chemicals giant will distribute Seta products in the key markets of China, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Taiwan.

In addition to Mimosa extract, the agreement covers the whole of the Seta tanning and retanning products range, including auxiliaries such as protein filler, bleaching agent, and metal sequestering agent. As part of the agreement, Bayer will provide all technical support.
