Colombian leather production up 39% year-on-year in February

Figures released by Colombia’s National Statistics Department show that during February 2001, leather production was one of the country’s fastest growing industrial sectors, recording a year-on-year growth rate of 39.12%.

By comparison, Colombia’s overall industrial production showed an increase of only 1.47% over February 2000.
