Bigger, better World Footwear Materials Exposition announced for this October
The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), organiser of the World Footwear Materials Exposition in Taichung, Taiwan, has announced that this year’s show will offer double the space of its predecessor.
To be held at the Grand Formosa Hotel, Taichung, on October 3-4, the 2001 event will offer space for 86 booths.
Said Fawn Evenson, President of the Footwear Industries of America (FIA) Division of the AAFA: "The footwear supplier firms we work with are always looking for ways to enter ways to enter new world markets and improve their relationships with their existing customers overseas, and the FIA has a key role in developing these opportunities. With well over one billion pairs of shoes coming into the U.S. every year from this region, it’s just good business to develop strong relationships in Taiwan – the footwear design centre of the world."
