Senior leather business appointments at U.S. chemicals producer
The U.S.-based specialty chemicals producer, Rohm & Haas, has announced new expanded duties for two of its senior leather business managers.
Mike Alderman, Worldwide Development Manager, is to add responsibility for commercial operations in the North American region to his existing role. Alex Campbell, commercial manager for the Asia-Pacific region, will also direct the Leather Group’s e-Business initiative and manage the company’s leather chemical portfolio.
With annual sales of approximately $7 billion, Rohm and Haas is a major manufacturer of specialty chemicals for a variety of purposes including leather tanning and finishing. Headquarted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the company employs around 18,000 and operates 140 manufacturing and research sites in 27 countries.
