Three new factories to come on stream for Stella before year-end
Footwear group Stella International has reported revenues of $786.7 million for the first six months of 2026. This is an increase of 1.5% compared to the same period last year.
It sold 27.5 million pairs of shoes and other footwear over the period, a similar volume to the first half of 2025.
The group said 2026 was “an important investment year”. It is ramping up construction of three new factories. These will be in Bangladesh, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Stella said production will begin at these new factories in the second half of this year, subject to regulatory approval.
Chairman of the group, Lawrence Chen, said in recent comments that having a diversified manufacturing base was “a core differentiator” for Stella.
