Songmont reunites Thai trio for Mother’s Day campaign

Leathergoods brand Songmont worked with three prominent female figures in Thailand to launch a campaign in time for Mother’s Day, which Thailand celebrates on August 12.

Actors Usha Seamkhum, Tontawan Tantivejakul and Himawari Tajiri appeared together in award-winning 2024 film ‘How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies’, representing different generations of a Thai family.

Songmont has now brought them together again for its Mother’s Day campaign, saying it wanted to celebrate the connections between different generations of women, “in the care they give, the wisdom they share, and the memories they create together”. Bags that feature in the campaign include the Song, reflecting “enduring spirit”, the Luna, for “timeless elegance” and the Mini Luna, to reflect “the possibilities yet to come”.

“Each bag holds its own character,” the leathergoods brand said. “Over time, the leather develops a richer patina, like the care and devotion written on hands and faces.”
