A high-level Egyptian delegation from the Leather Technology Training Centre (LTTC) and Cairo for Investment and Development (CID) will travel to Italy in September as part of the Robbiki Leather City programme.

The study tour, organised by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), will include visits to the Italian leather districts of Vigevano and Turbigo, alongside participation in MICAM Milano, Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech.

According to AICS, the visit marks a new phase in more than 20 years of cooperation between Italy and Egypt, shifting from infrastructure development and institutional support towards stronger business-to-business links, technology transfer and long-term industrial partnerships.
