Le Marche brands to showcase their craftsmanship at Birmingham event
High-end leathergoods and footwear brands from Italy’s Le Marche region will take part in a series of special event in Birmingham in mid-August.
Organised by the chamber of commerce in Le Marche, the events coincide with the opening of the European Athletics Championships, which Birmingham is hosting from August 10-16.
One of the events will celebrate Le Marche’s contribution to sport, but others will focus on design and fashion.
At the fashion event, on the afternoon of August 10, leathergoods and footwear will feature prominently.
Leathergoods brands taking part will include Valentino Orlandi and Marta Gattari, while companies including Loriblu, Franceschetti, Alexander Hotto, Enrico Cuini and equestrian products specialist Romitelli Shoes will hold the torch for Le Marche’s famous footwear sector.
