Growth for Jimmy Choo helps Capri

Leathergoods and footwear group Capri Holdings has reported revenues of $769 million for the first quarter of its current financial year.

This period covers the three months ending June 27, 2026. This result represents a fall of 3.5% compared to the same period a year earlier.

Revenues from its Michael Kors brand were $590 million, down by 7% year on year. Footwear brand Jimmy Choo brought in $179 million, an increase of 10.5% compared to the previous year’s first quarter.

Sales for Michael Kors were up in Asia, but down in Europe and the Americas. Jimmy Choo experienced increases in all three geographical markets.

Group chief executive, John Idol, said he expected Jimmy Choo’s revenues to continue to grow. But he said Michael Kors faced “certain headwinds”, including softer demand in Europe and low inventory.
