Groupe Lécuyer acquires Moreau Paris
French luxury manufacturing group Groupe Lécuyer has acquired historic leather goods house Moreau Paris following approval from the Paris Commercial Court.
Founded in 1882, Moreau Paris is one of France’s historic monogram houses, alongside Louis Vuitton, Goyard and Moynat. Revived in the 2010s, the brand now generates approximately €10 million in annual retail sales through boutiques, franchise partners, department stores and digital channels.
Groupe Lécuyer, owned by the Odend’hal family, employs around 800 people and supplies luxury brands through manufacturing operations in France and internationally. The company said the acquisition will strengthen Moreau Paris’ industrial capabilities, product development and international distribution while preserving the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship.
Charles Odend'hal, chief executive of Groupe Lécuyer, said the group aims to build on Moreau Paris’ heritage while investing in its products, craftsmanship and global development.
