TFL promotes bio-based tanning at ACLE
Leather chemicals specialist TFL has confirmed it will exhibit at the All-China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) 2026 in Shanghai from September 1-3, where it will present a range of leather manufacturing technologies and developments.
Among the highlights will be VEGTAN, the company's new responsible tanning brand. TFL said the process is based on a tanning technology containing more than 70% bio-based content and makes use of by-products from other industries.
The company will also feature leather accessories produced with ultra-low bisphenol content, alongside a collection of leather articles incorporating Autumn-Winter 2027/28 colour trends.
TFL said its presence at ACLE 2026 will focus on solutions aimed at combining leather performance, sustainability and compliance with evolving regulatory and brand requirements.
