Change of president at Futurmoda show
Machinery specialist Pedro Vives is the new president of leather, leathergoods, footwear, components and technology event Futurmoda. He replaces José Antonio Ibarra, who has presided over the event for the last eight years.
Mr Vives, who is a distributor in Spain for Italian materials cutting technology developer Comelz, was president of Futurmoda immediately before Mr Ibarra’s tenure.
On taking up the appointment again, the new president said: “Futurmoda has grown substantially since my last term as president. I will work hard to make sure the event continues to be a solid meeting point for the whole footwear and leather sector.”
The next edition of Futurmoda will be in Elche on October 14 and 15.
