Chief executive announcement at Bottega Veneta
Luxury group Kering has announced the appointment of Romain Sptitzer as the new chief executive of leathergoods brand Bottega Veneta.
Mr Spitzer will take up the role on September 1, joining from rival group LVMH, where he is currently chief executive of its fragrance and beauty division. In his new role he will be based in Milan. He will also become part of Kering’s executive committee.
Kering chief executive, Luca de Meo, commented: “Bottega Veneta is one of the strongest and most distinctive houses in luxury, with exceptional craftsmanship, a unique creative identity and remarkable growth potential. Romain has the leadership, vision and international experience to unlock the next phase of the house’s development.”
