Leathergoods CEO is a finalist in EY competition
The chief executive of leathergoods brand Bellroy, Lina Calabria, has been named as a finalist for the 2026 edition of the Entrepreneur of the Year competition by financial services group EY Australia.
Ms Calabria was one of the founders of Bellroy in 2010 and worked first as its chief operating officer before becoming co-chief executive in 2023. In July 2024, she took over as chief executive in her own right.
Bellroy’s main selling point at the time of its launch was slim wallets that were easier and more elegant to carry in the age of slim tailoring.
Now its offerings also include small leathergoods for technology equipment, keys and other objects that we carry around.
She is one of four finalists in the consumer products category for the Australia edition of the competition this year. Winners will be named at a ceremony in October.
“I get to represent the work we all put in,” Ms Calabria said on being nominated. “This is for the whole team. It reflects everyone at Bellroy.”
