Valencia’s regional footwear industry body, Avecal, held a seminar for members on July 9 with ‘Footwear unites us: industry, fashion, place’ as the theme. 

Prominent designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada made a surprise guest appearance at the event in Alicante, taking the shoe industry professionals present through her personal and professional life.  

She described a journey “full of creativity, colour and authenticity”, Avecal said.
