Willy Chavarria celebrates ‘leather culture’ with Ugg

US designer Willy Chavarria has collaborated with sheepskin brand Ugg on a unisex collection, which was shown at his spring-summer 2027 Paris Fashion Week show.

The former vice-president of design for Calvin Klein, and who now runs an eponymous label, described the tie-up as “the archival influence of leather culture wrapped in the warmth and intimacy that only Ugg can provide”.

He added: “We’ve designed this collection to be fierce and friendly.”

Last month, Ugg owner Deckers reported a 10% increase in annual sales to $5.5 billion. Ugg sales rose 8% to $2.7 billion and Hoka sales grew 16% to $2.6 billion. Steve Fasching, chief financial officer, said: “Our fiscal 2026 results reflect another year of exceptional performance, with record revenue, industry-leading operating margins and double-digit earnings per share growth.”
