Leather adds classy detail to special Dior product
Luxury brand Christian Dior is using a specially designed leather rose as the defining element of its presentation of a new, limited-edition perfume.
The fragrance is inspired by a rose called Centifolia, which is cultivated in France’s perfume capital, Grasse.
Dior said the rose holds a special place in the history of its perfumes, explaining that the flower was “a constant source of inspiration” for founder, Christian Dior.
In keeping with this, the bottle is adorned with a leather rose created by French artist Marie Barthès. It is crafted from lambskin leather.
