Luxury leathergoods brand Hermès has opened a new store in a development called The Landmark in the Sakae district of Nagoya.  

It said Japanese culture and textile traditions had inspired the store. It has four floors with double-height windows to give lots of light.  

A stone staircase sweeps in front of the leathergoods area and “cascades through the centre of the store”, Hermès said.
