Brazilian beef exports have maintained strong momentum since last year, with monthly volumes above 200,000 tonnes since March 2025, according to data from Secex compiled by Cepea.

Exports totalled 953,606 tonnes in the first four months of 2026, up 15.2% year on year and nearly 30% higher than the same period in 2024.

April shipments reached a record 251,944 tonnes, with export revenues of $1.57 billion, up 29.4% year on year.

China remained the leading destination, importing 135,472 tonnes in April, while the United States ranked second with 37,469 tonnes.
