Ferrari unveils first fully electric model, featuring leather interior

Luxury sports car maker Ferrari has unveiled its first fully electric vehicle, the Luce, marking a significant shift for the Italian brand as it expands beyond petrol and hybrid models.

Developed over five years in collaboration with LoveFrom, the design company founded by former Apple executive Sir Jony Ive, the five-seat EV combines Ferrari’s traditional performance focus with a more spacious layout and technology-led design.

Ferrari said the Luce features leather, glass and anodised aluminium surfaces throughout the interior, alongside physical controls intended to retain a more tactile driving experience. The company added that all major components are produced in-house.

The €550,000 ($640,000) model is expected to enter production in late 2026.
