TFL introduces temporary surcharges amid Gulf disruption
Leather chemicals supplier TFL has introduced temporary surcharges on freight and product costs with immediate effect, citing ongoing disruption linked to the conflict in the Gulf region.
The company said the measures are intended to address continued volatility in global logistics and rising raw material costs. Surcharge levels will vary depending on product group, manufacturing location and shipping route.
TFL confirmed that the surcharges will remain in place until market conditions stabilise, with regular reviews planned.
The supplier added that it is working with partners across its supply chain to maintain continuity of supply and to reduce the impact of the current situation on customers.
