AI appointment at Kering

Luxury group Kering has announced Pierre Houlès as a new member of its leadership team.

For the last ten years, Mr Houlès has worked in senior digital transformation roles at automotive group Renault, from where Kering chief executive, Luca de Meo, arrived last year.

At Kering, Pierre Houlès will be chief digital and IT officer, but he will also have the role of chief AI officer. The group said he will have the task of accelerating “the transformation of its technology architecture”.

It said he will help build “a model that fully embeds innovation to enhance performance and desirability”.
