17/03/2026
The 14th Freiberg Leather days will take place on July 1–2, at the Mövenpick Hotel Münster, bringing together participants from across the European tanning and leather sector.
Researchers and industry professionals now have until March 31 to submit presentation titles. FILK is inviting contributions covering a broad range of technical and market-focused topics, including new manufacturing technologies, advances in analytics, sustainable raw materials and tanning processes, innovative processing and finishing technologies, automation and digitalisation and developments in downstream industries.
The programme will include a keynote address by Professor Thomas Scholten, of the University of Tübingen, who will speak on global and regional nitrogen cycles and their impact on livestock farming.
In addition to the conference sessions, the event will feature a social programme aimed at encouraging networking among delegates.
