In terms of tonnes, leather exports show an increase for Brazil

Brazil’s exports of hides, skins and leather in the first 11 months of 2025 brought in revenues of just over $1 billion, but this figure represents a fall of around 8.5% year on year.

In terms of volume, packers, traders and tanners in Brazil shipped 171.9 million square-metres of leather and raw material in the January-November 2025 period. This is a fall of 3.9%.

This material reached a total weight of 575,750 tonnes and in terms of weight, the 2025 figure represents an increase. The total is up by 5.1%.
