Leathergoods brand Archipel is one of 15 companies singled out for a special ‘Made in Paris’ award.

Since 2017, the French capital’s official agency for design, fashion and crafts, the Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d’art (BDMMA) has given companies across a range of categories official ‘Made in Paris’ status.

For 2026, BDMMA has given this recognition to no fewer than 575 products, but it singled out 15 of them as winners of its special ‘Lauréat’ honour. Archipel was among these.

Founded by designer Sébastien Cordoleani, Archipel specialises in bags in full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather.
