LVMH pays tribute to Chinese consumers at CIIE 2025
Luxury group LVMH has a major presence at the 2025 China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. This is the sixth time the group has taken part in the exhibition, a major event for promoting imports into China of quality products from overseas companies.
There were 430,000 buyers at the 2024 edition of CIIE and for this year’s edition, which runs from November 5-10, organisers have said they hope for nearly 450,000 buyers to attend.
At this year’s exhibition, LVMH said it wanted to celebrate its “lasting relationship” with China. The group first established a presence in China in the early 1990s.
It added that it also wanted to pay tribute to Chinese consumers, describing them as “the most demanding, connected and informed consumers on the planet”.
