French leather to feature at MIF Expo with ‘Made in Leather’ stand
The French leather industry will feature at the 13th MIF Expo, the Made in France exhibition, from November 6 to 9 at Porte de Versailles in Paris.

The event, which attracts more than 110,000 visitors annually, brings together around 1,000 French manufacturers across diverse sectors, including textiles, decoration, cosmetics, and gastronomy.

Alliance France Cuir will present its Made in Leather (Made in Cuir) space, an immersive journey through the country’s tanning and manufacturing expertise. Highlights include a “sensory wall” exploring the textures, colours and finishes of French hides, and a leather library supplied by tanneries such as Alran, La Molière, Raynaud Jeune, Haas, Rémy Carriat and Ictyos. Around twenty French-made leather creations will be on display, including gloves, shoes, watch straps and decorative objects.

Visitors can also take part in workshops on leather repair and maintenance, featuring demonstrations by Franck Tabaste, À La Ville À La Montagne and shoe shiner Éric Feray. A before-and-after display of shoe repairs will show the value of caring for leather products.

The Made in Cuir experience extends beyond the exhibition halls with a mural in the Paris metro, inviting visitors to share photos using #MadeInCuir.
