Integrated artisanal model delivers again for Hermès

Luxury group Hermès has reported revenues of €11.9 billion for the first nine months of 2025, an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
Its leathergoods and saddlery division brought in revenues of nearly €5.3 billion, an increase of more than 10%. Hermès said it was still seeing strong demand, for its “iconic products” as well as for new collections.
It opened its twenty-fourth leathergoods workshop in France in September, in the town of L’Isle-d’Espagnac (pictured). Over the next three years, Hermès plans to open three further leathergoods workshops in different parts of France: in Loupes in 2026, Charleville-Mézières in 2027 and Colombelles in 2028.
Hermès has said consistently that it is this “highly integrated artisanal model” that gives it confidence, even in an “uncertain economic and geopolitical context”.
There was growth across the globe for the Paris-based group, with increases of 14.4% in Japan, 13% in the Middle East, 9.3% in France and 10.7% in the rest of Europe among the highlights.
