Arizona opening takes the Hermès US store count to 42
Luxury leathergoods brand Hermès has opened a store in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is its first opening in the city; its location is the Scottsdale Fashion Square.
Hermès has described the city as dynamic and its new store as radiant, with “luminous interiors [that] pay homage to the region’s sunlight”.
Ceramic tiles in tones of “muted sunlight” cover the indoor façade. Crafted in Mexico, with curves and ridges that evoke the resilient beauty of the desert cacti, Hermès claims, these textures “create an enticing organic motif”.
Ochre-studded stone guides visitors toward the store’s equestrian collections, and a curving mezzanine is home to the brand’s leathergoods collections.
In total, this takes the total number of Hermès stores in the US to 42.
