Brazil’s national tanning industry association CICB has reported export revenues of $953.6 million from shipments of leather and hides in the first nine months of this year.

This figure represents an increase of 13.5% compared to the same period in 2023.

It said the volumes had risen too, with increases of 21.7% in area and of 38% in weight.
