Strong first half for Prada Group
Luxury group Prada has reported revenues of more than €2.25 billion for the first half of 2024, an increase of 18% year on year. There was growth at each of the group’s main brands.
The Prada brand itself contributed revenues of €1.7 billion for the six-month period, a rise of 6% year on year.
Women’s clothing and accessory brand Miu Miu achieved revenues of €530 million between January and June this year. This figure represents growth of 93%.
English footwear brand Church’s brought in revenues of €15 million, which represented growth of 15%. Together, the group’s other brands, including Marchesi and Car Shoe, had combined revenues of €10 million, up by 12% year on year.
Chief executive, Andrea Guerra, pointed out that the group has now delivered 14 consecutive quarters of growth. He said its brands had been able to “capitalise on their unique identity, creativity, and positioning”.
