Mexico still offers opportunity for US meat exporters
The US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) has said it is likely to repeat a recent symposium it ran in Mexico in mid-June owing to its success.
USMEF chief executive, Dan Halstrom, said Mexico was still a growing market for US meat exporters. He insisted there were still emerging opportunities in Mexico for meat producers north of the border.
“Turnout at the event in Mexico City was outstanding; we even had to limit the number of importers who could attend,” said USMEF chair, Randy Spronk. “I expect it will become a recurring event for the industry.”
